DX2 Themes vs WB Themes - Run Simultaneously?

Friday, April 23, 2004 by GreyStone | Discussion: Stardock Software

I''m a newbie to DX so this is a dumb question. If I install a DX2 theme, do I still need to run Windowblinds as well? I''ve noticed some DX themes mention that they would "look good with * WB theme" so I''m confused. I''ve looked over the docs and cruised this forum and can''t find anything that clearly addresses this.

Thansk in advance for any help provided.

WindowBlinds skins the "Windows", as well as the StartPanel, and other bits, if you're using XP. DX does not. DX runs skinnable "Objects", and scripts................ use them together. )

You dont need to have a windows blinds running or any other stardock program running for DesktopX to work.
Some dx authors (such as myself) like to provide hints as to what wb's look best with the theme however the user may chose any wb he/she desires or just not have windows blinds running at all
