Wednesday, May 18, 2011 by bignbustywmn | Discussion: OS Customization
I jsut beciase a subscriber here and I have runinto a problem I hope to get some help with. I have notices that when I apply a skin and it swtiches over the tabs in IE9 disappear. They don't even show up if you mouse over them. I had the same issue before I became a subscriber. This didn't happen when I had IE8. Can anyone tell me how to solve this? I appreciate the help, thanks.

As Doc asked, all skins or just one?
If it is with all skins it is possible that some of the addons and extra toolbars that you are running don't like IE 9. Remember, IE 9 being so new that some stuff might not run correctly or cause problems with IE itself.
Try disabling all the addons and extra toolbars and see if the tabs come back. If so than start adding things back until you find whats causing the problem.
I run IE 9 on Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit (not one addon or extra toolbar) and IE 9 works fine.

It happens with all skins but I will try your suggestions and disable all my tool bars and see if that helps.

but put a screen shot up here of it ..
it is good to have an visual aid when possible
Just in case you don't know how to do a screen shot open IE9 hit the Prt scm / sys Rq key
then open PAINT then hold down CTRL key and hit V then save as jpg or what ever
then go here imageshack or some other place like them
on the this site on the drop down for Image resize click on DO NOT RESIZE
click on browse find your SS then hit upload
then click on right click it and click COPY then come here and Paste it..
