neone6, I could be wrong, but I'm not so sure it's a good idea to link to a skin/wall that is still in moderation. You might wish to wait until it's

 approved.

I´M GETTING THERE...  @least I did everything else everyone told me......

How are you going to base a skin on another....I mean I pick up the image in photoshop, then change it then saves...Redesigned, but same file name....

If I change the name of the file...will skinstudio be able 2 find it and place it right ?

Tt´s why I kept the original file names...4 the skin 2 work...Same filenames, Different de3sign...  ?

GREATFUL 4 input ! /Andrew-"neone6"

Hi Andrew -- let me congratulate you on your enthusiasm for entering the world of skinning, and your courage for deciding to upload.

It's very important that you follow the upload guidelines.  You can find those here: https://www.wincustomize.com/upload-guidelines

There is also a wonderful thread written by Island Dog that goes into detail here: https://forums.wincustomize.com/319604

When you "pick up an image in Photoshop" you must have permission from the original owner of the image to change it (also called "modifying an image).  If you create an image from scratch, THEN you have the rights to that image.

I know, it's strange when you first get into skinning/creating, to learn all the ins and outs, but just because you FIND an image somewhere, does not mean you have permission to DISPLAY modifications to that image anywhere else...that's called "ripping" and "copyright infringement."

To conclude, I would like to wish you luck in your art work and uploads, and look forward to more from you.

neone6 -

Unless a wall has been approved for the gallery or for your personal page you should not provide a link.  When a skin is in moderation there should be no link for it to be downloaded.  Eventually this will be fixed by the WC site web guru's.  In the meantime please refrain from posting any more links to your items still in moderation.

Should you decide later to have a 'work-in-progress' item such as a WindowBlind that you would like input on then that is acceptable to provide a link to an off-site file server.

Q: How many rednecks does it take to change a lightbulb?

A: None - rednecks have no idea what a lightbulb is and don't have electricity...

I think you're confusing me with my cousin, Neanderthal. I have electricity and a computer.
