You never see my task bar because its hidden. Its on top because I have OD2 on the bottom. See.

Yeah, I think that would really be cool. Ole Bunk on the start button going through a series of expressions would be a hoot! And just think of the possibilities for the start menu too....thinking....thinking....thinking... 
If you want a top taskbar...buy a mac.

Could also have a start button that changes color. From gold to that gorgeous texture you have going on.

In the beginning yes my task bar was at the bottom. Then along came Object Dock 2 and it worked for me for the first time. I don't like to have something as cool as that way up top. I like it on the bottom where it is easier to play with so ... up goes my task bar, hidden and out of the way. It likes to play hide and seek when I go to minimize or close a window. If I move the cursor up too far it drops down and I have to back off so it'll go back to hiding. more than once I got a good laugh out of it as it drops down unexpectedly and I wind up opening the time window instead of closing or minimizing the one I'm working with. There's a third dock I keep hidden. The one from HP. It's fat round and ugly with partial transparency. So now I got OD2 on the bottom, my task bar up top with the icons centered, Nexus on the right and when I get ODNT the task bar will come back down. Probably stick Nexus up top instead with OD2 on the right. Just because I like to be different.
