Yeah, that's some pretty snazzy stuff, maybe you could update it with some of today's newer effects to take it past where you left off... okay, so all the old png's a lost/gone, but you got the nucleus of something totally bitchin' there, man.

As for the chicky babe, I seem to recall seeing that wall somewhere before, or something mighty similar at least.   Nice.

The text effect wall I did in CS5 trial version a few days ago. The one in the folder I sent you, is that the one you're referring too? If I can redo that it would be great. Otherwise I'll see if maybe I can bribe, cajole or something, to get RnD to do it or just put to graphics. Anyway...Cabbage Pestilence didn't make it. I just got the upload notification. 2 for 6 I think. But...I'll just keep at it. I got to hit it sometime. Well...I'm off to go grab smx.

Yeah, if you put it to RND I'm sure he could think of some practical uses that it could be applied to.

It wouldn't hurt to ask.... maybe to work in collaboration is a step to consider?

My idea was to have it work like a DX or SMX. There are controls for Windows Media Player and another, Xion or what is the name of that other one? I can never remember it. Oh well ... the four clear glass knobs at either end are TCP indicators, on or off. The round circle at the top is for a clock with four buttons, two to either side for changing time zones, 12/24 hour, etc. It's been awhile and I'm fishing through my brain for what else I put on it. Um ... RAM stats such as how much is used, how much is available in percentages. Also controls for calling up different applications or folders, the whole nine. I saved it in Photoshop 7 as a .psd and started separating the various elements. Copy then paste into a new layer. So far there are about 9 layers and that's just for the clock, buttons and the four ornaments that surround the clock. I estimate somewhere between twenty and thirty layers or perhaps even more. A collaborative effort may not be a bad idea. I'm gonna have to PM RnD. Who knows, maybe this three year old will get all growed up yet. 

Yeah, it would lend itself perfectly to those applications, and perhaps to Rainmeter/Rainlendar as well.  In fact, it may even lend itself to Winstep Xtreme as well.  Not necessarily in its entirety, but sort of cut up to apply to the desktop modules, Workshelf, Nexus and Nextstart.  Webgimos would be the bloke to ask about that idea, being he does Winstep themes as well as docks these days.

I'll do it. Just one question. What happens if it turns out like another suggestion I had. That would be a real bummer. I've already started modifying it so it will be easier to see where its going. Oh, and the suggestion, not a word in some time about Curried Cabbage WB.

You can only ask, and if they say yes it's all good, and if they say no it's still all good.  You just keep going with it until you're happy with the finished article.

No, but I think Po` works away from home a lot... not to mention various health issues he had to address.  I think he said something about finishing several WB's he started when he got promoted just recently.

I was just curious about the WB. I sent a PM to RnD, got his e-mail and sent the image off. He just got back to me asking about the original format so I told him what happened to the files. He said to me it looks like an SMX or a Media player. I told him it can do both. 

Yeah, it'd do both alright, and maybe DX wigdets or gadgets as well.  It has potential in all those areas, so the sky is the limit, as they say.

Anyway, all the best with it and hopefully I'll see it up on the front page of the galleries sometime soon.

Now that looks interesting...  and would look great with Kitty's Sunken Treasure WB with a few tweaks here and there.

I just checked out Kitty's Sunken Treasure. Man ... that is some gorgeous WB. I can do some tweaks like lightening the boards and maybe pasting an image to it but I don't want to emulate her blind. A while back I was trying to do rainies for different WB's like her Frankenstein which turned out pretty good but the one after that ... well lets just say it didn't work out. I want it to be an original by me. Not that your idea isn't a really good one. As soon as I get something I'll put it here. Thanks.

Thing is, you can do a Sunken Treasure rainy and still use your own graphics.  You would only need to fiddle with the graphics you have a little (like add a few piratey emblems or something) to compliment the WB... and that was more my thought, to compliment it rather than emulate. 

What you have there is distinctly different to Kitty's graphics, so it would surely be your own work...ORRIGHT????
