Uploading problems

Friday, July 18, 2003 by Joint Cognation | Discussion: Stardock Software

Hey everyone.

Maybe I'm overlooking something obvious, but I'm having trouble uploading a package of skins. I have a simple design I made with 13 color variations and I want to upload it (all 13 jpgs contained in a zip file) and using one of the jpgs (outside the zip) as the preview.

Whenever I get everything set up, type in my comment and select the files, the preview image field clears when I hit upload. If anyone knows why it is doing this please let me know. Thanks.

Check to make sure that the folder you are uploading from is named correctly. I mean without and (.,:;") or anything like that. I hope this makes sence to you.

Make sure the .zip has a different file name than the preview image.

If you try to upload for example: pictures.zip and pictures.jpg...It will not work

does this really matter if the .zip and file name is the same? because i uploaded something and then it disappeared and i don't think it would be rejected so this must be the problem (zodiaq how did you find this out?)

That's incorrect,  my last upload is named in just that way.

Legolas813 ... you have mail.
