Tutorial or script needed to change colors repeatedly.
Flashing lights tutorial
Sunday, August 29, 2010 by Doubird | Discussion: DesktopX Tutorials
Hi, I'm looking for a tutorial or script that will just change an object from one color to another. I have a row of tiny red squares on each side of my widget that are red and I would like to make them just flash from red to grey, i guess at normal speed that would be like flashing lights.
Thanks for your help and time.

Doubird, send me your squares and I'll animate them for you, or, I'll walk you through doing it yourself, if you want.
Eve, you do rock, you know!!!!!

It's amazing to me how much DX can (still) do without any scripting. Animations and triggers are good examples.

Color me stoopid....triggers? Splain please.
I'm sure it's something I'm aware of but call it something else...lol.

Triggers = State Messages?
I agree; there's a lot DX can do without having to script--plugins, object types--and that's what makes it a great program for all skill levels. Shame not too many people are interested in it any more, though.

Why not use an animation? No script required.
