Hey Everyone!
I've taken a break from objectdock skinning and I've been working on my first windowblind. It's starting to come along (even though I still have a lot more to do). I am creating this post so I can ask questions and accept suggestions. Also, I can't seem to come up with a name for it so I could use some help there. I plan to make a windows 7 and windows vista substyle.
I'm really excited to work on this and I'm having a lot of fun with it. As you can see in the preview, it's going to be a dark windowblind with blue and green effects. I'm still in the learning process of skinstudio so it's coming along slowly, but there's no rush. I plan to work on the window frames and buttons next. I'll keep this post updated as I go along.
Once again, as I said before, I would love to have the advice and support of the wincustomize community as I progress.

I agree with Syd....it looks very good and Azzurro is a fine name. 
A swirling blue animation in the Start Button might look nice...I wonder if the beaded water look could be added without being too obtrusive, to the Start Menu....
for taking the plunge!

Looking good so far! Maybe change the white in the start menu's search bar.

That would be great but I'm not sure how to do that.....
Also something I wanted to do, but I'm not sure how to do it.....

Sometimes when I apply my skin, I get this annoying space above the "all programs" part of the start menu. I'm not sure what the cause is. I have a separator in place that works half of the time. Any help would be appreciated.

I came up with an idea for the system tray of my skin.
Is this a good idea? or should I keep it simple?

It's a good idea, but it looks a bit like VOX (vStyler).

Just asking advice of the wincustomize community. I'm very new to windowblinds and skinstudio. This is my first windowblind so it would only make sense to ask questions.

Tray loooks fine to me bud, altho slightly similar I certainly don't have a patent on blue rectangles.

Oh yeah, I'm not going to claim credit for the wallpaper (which I should have said earlier). I found it over on DeviantART a while back.
-Or maybe you were referring to Doc's post...........either way, everyone should know I didn't make that wallpaper so I don't get in trouble

G3mpi3....It's a good idea. Great skin.
v, Jim....sheesh! Too bad you didn't help him with the separator bar thing in the start menu.

Azzurro (azure, in Italian...used to indicate various shades of light blue)
