I sure hope I haven't overlooked the answer to this somewhere else. If so, mods, nuke it...lol.
Did we lose the ability to create sidebar gadgets in DX 4.o?
I don't have the option showing. DX Pro, that is.

Thanks, man. I have opted, so far, to keep 3.5 on my main rig, and beta test 4.o on my laptop. I need DX to work. I'll check the thread.

yep. Sidebar export is dead since the sidebar was pretty much DOA on Vista and gone on Win7.

Hey Zub, good seein' ya!
I also have a problem I never used to have in that if I'm running a 1920x1200 wall in windows, and I load DX, my wall goes to the fit setting, rather than the fill setting I have it set to. DX is set to no wall, and resize is shown, if I set to center, it still does it. Pain in the rear...lol.
3.5 Pro, BTW.

Yep, it's gone (mostly because sidebar gadgets on 7 are now directly on the desktop and so are not really different from a full blown widget). I think there is some official word on that (either by Brad or Aaron), but I can't find it right now.
If you didn't make a copy of the DX3.5 folder prior to updating, now would be a good time. There are some tips on how to run them side-by-side on this thread, so you can still export gadgets for Vista users.
