Pushing the Limits of My Skills
...hope I have some hair left when this is finished....
Friday, January 1, 2010 by Xiandi | Discussion: Sneak Previews
Everything you see...every spike, rivet, and strap...I made in Photoshop. I'm rather proud of myself, lol. This one is going to test my skills, and push my limits like no other blind, so if you hear screaming in frustration....it's just me pulling out my hair.
This start panel took a long time to get right...and I learned a few things in the process. I imagine that this one will take a while to complete.
It still needs a name. It's called Armageddon. (Thanks Syd!)

Might I suggest something like a dark brown worn leather look with brass rivets or just continue across with the hammered metal look. ![]()

I can imagine there might be a few alterations between now and the finished blind, perhaps the start button, but I like the concept very much and think you're on a sure winner here.... and being it's dark, I'm already in love with it. More to the point, I'm really into all that King Arthur, Lancelot and the knights of the Round Table stuff (watched Arthur: The Legend on TV last night) so it's right up my 'Medieval' alley.
BTW, Ladt Xi, I have some Medieval icons in my gallery... please feel free to use any or all if you so feel they'd be in any way useful to this project, okay. Please PM or email me if you happen to use them and need written consent to include with the upload when it's ready

You just keep getting better with every new effort. Maybe the Start button could be a shield.
