I'm just a few corn and soybean fields west of you. I live in central Illinois"Where the Governors make the license plates" TM and was born in Bloomington,IL. It was the only time I was ever next to Normal. See a map for the proof,lol.

That's interesting. I was raised in downtown and N Chas...currently Summerville.
Since we're the same age, there's a chance our paths may have crossed.

I moved up here in 94, heard the navel base moved and the ship yard closed, guess I wouldn’t recognize N.Charleston anymore.

... discover that not being normal means you fit in in more places than 'normal' people.

You’re right but...we’re a little more centrally located and a lot warmer, at least down at the bottom where I am.
I would still travel that far to meet some of the great people that make all this possible.

i just ask koop what day is good for him and go that day. i wanted to be there back in september to meet jafo but couldn't make it.
btw, regarding riding with tom, i call shotgun. i doubt there's much leg room in the backseat of that car.

I did manage to catch up with Koop...fleetingly [I was late]....but there was a whole bunch I missed..... and some I really was hoping to catch...eg. Karma.

loukeeya...nice system...with a monitor like that, I would think you'd have a widesreen dream on your desktop.
DPCloud...I read somewhere that you grew up in Charleston...what area?
