Line breaks aren't working in comments
Tuesday, March 31, 2009 by Daqron | Discussion: WinCustomize Site Issues
Sorry if this is a duplicate; I searched for help on this issue and couldn't find anything. I tried to post a comment on someone's WB skin today and after submitting the comment all of my line breaks were removed. Is this a known issue with the commenting system? I'm using Firefox 3 on WinXP.

Try using this, <br> when you type in your comments for line breaks and paragraph breaks. I forget now who past that on to me. ![]()
{Bara: Test, please ignore}

Wow, that's pretty sad. At least it isn't just me.
I think I tried that and the system ignored any HTML I put in (it seems to support BBCode-like tags for some things but not HTML). There must be a way to do it because other people are posting comments with line breaks. Perhaps they're using IE. If that's the solution I guess I can live without line breaks!
Cheers for the replies, everyone!
