Tiles, Propoganda.org?
Wednesday, January 28, 2009 by Hawkeye666 | Discussion: Wallpapers
Does anyone remember Propoganda.org? I'm wondering what ever happened to it. More importantly, what ever happened to those incredibly complex wallpaper tiles they had?
I think it would be really cool to see someone out there resurrect the escoteric art of tiled wallpapers. Now being painfully inept at all things aretistic I assume you I am not the one to do it, but none the less I sure would love to have some again. Anyone want to take up the cause?
I mean after all only 8 tiles in the walls section....

I'm really glad y'all enjoyed that. Back when I was first using Stardocks products these were almost always the walls I used.
It would be tough to top his work, wouldn't it? But there are some really creative artists in this community. I think some of them would be up to the challenge.

Yes, thanks for the link..........some really good tiles there.
I think there's still some room to do more textures, like wood, cloth, jello, etc. ![]()

Funny you should mention this, I just uploaded a tiled wallpaper myself based on a damask cloth texture: Dark Flowered Damask

More infor....
It appears Propaganda is not around. However Bowie Pogue who made all those amazing walls seems to have allowed a posting that links to an archive of them
I found this link: http://www.michaelsmac.com/contributions/index.php?act=view&id=63 by doing a google on the tags propaganda, wallpaper, tile.
Check it out if you are not familiar with this stuff.
