Question about taskbar

Yop everyone,

I'm trying to create my own Vista VS. But the taskbar I'd like to make is not as big as the original taskbar of Aero. So I've something a bit ugly:

So I've 2 questions:

- How to remove the white part?

- How to push up the name and the icon of the program and the icon of the notification bar?

1.  be sure to set the taskbar background to semi transparent.

2. Adjust the notification bar up and down by using the text setings on the tray image properties. Adjust the top text marging = or - depending.
