desktopx problems
cant change background, cant show desktop icons, web tab gone

i really need ur help regarding my prob with the tabs and selection which have disappeared...
my windows is an xp and my problem is, after i tried desktopx and selected my favored theme or any other theme, my "show desktop icons" selection within the "arrange icons by" is gone, along wid the "lock something i forgot" selection....and also within the display properties, the web tab is gone, with dat, i cant enable/disable my active desktop...lastly, i cant change my wallpaper using d display properties bcoz everytime i choose i picture, d background is still d same as before...please help...ive tried everything from uninstalling, uninstalling and installing desktopx again, system restore, scanning viruses and malwares using ad-aware, avast, and avg,hijackthis, ask for help from other forums...but still i have no solution, please help me...i cant change my background with or without desktopx, i cant show my desktop icons because i cant check or uncheck the "show desktop icons" within the "arrange icons by" because it disappeared with or without desktopx and i juz noticed dat the web tab was gone in display properties...im asking ur help because it all happened after i tried and used desktopx...please help me pls, i have no more options....
