Ok so im having i guess the same problem, Im running xp, when i download the .logonxp files the logonstudio doesnt list them after i double clik on the .logonxp . logonstudio starts up and says that its applying the screen but it isnt in the list . so far the only logons that work are the uncompiled versions that have the bitmaps and uifile in a standard file like the logons that come with logonstudio, what gives? You guys have like 12.000 screens but i can only use the 3 that came with logon studio and ive only found 3 others on the site that are compiled in the same manner as the 3 welcome screens that come with it! i like using this program rather than hacking my own system but why would i pay for a program that ive had for a week but doesnt work with its own default file? i was under the impreesion that the program is only limited so icouldnt make my own screens and some of the advance features, if this is the case why doesnt the .logonxp file work with the program its designed to work with? Seeing as how i went through the process of signing up to ask this question id really like an answer, Again im running xp with service pack 3 and the only files that logonstudio works with are the uncompiled with bitmaps and ui files in a typical file folder, The .logonxp extension files do not work, logonstudio does not associate with those files. and yes i tried to import them and load them and everything else i could think of , im reasobly computer literate, the bootskin loader works just fine and so does my alienGUIse themes only the logonstudio seems to have this bug, i would really appreciate the help.

LogonStudio for XP is free and not limited. and can be used to make your own.
did you install LS to it's default path or other path?
got a link to one that isn't working correctly for you?

I run it on SP3 with no problems. Try uninstalling > reboot > disable any anti-spyware or anti-virus > Install LogonXP > re-enable anti-spyware/anti-virus > reboot > try installing new Logons.........make sure you are using XP Logons and not LogonVista versions.
