GUIC Team EyeRSeeRs ready and recruiting!

Yes, it's a broken image imageToday, I am plesed to announce two new members of the skinning community have joined team EyeRSeeRs (IRC-ers) .  CarGuy1 and Xiandi have joined the crew and are we are thrilled to have their Dream and Windowblind skills contribute to (or in fact be most of) the success of the team!

Other recent members are long-time moderator WOM and since-before-time-began skinner HG_Eliminator.  It's unlikely that they will actually submit anything but they will lend the team a certain gravitas that may translate more balanced team when considering the original members of team EyeRSeeR: myself, Island_Dog, and RomanDA.

New members for this year also include mommaTee; quite teh icon maker if I do say so myself!

Due to rules enforced my THE MAN, Island_Dog will be unable to submit anything and unless there's a DX catagory, RomanDA is right out.  Also, becuase of the incredible grassroots of Flaming Aero of Death and the fact that it won no medals the wallpaper catagory has been removed from this years competition - practically shutting me out of this competition.  Plans are in place that may provide a dream at least as good as that wallpaper submission to vindicate this travisty.

Other "classic" members are being contacted now to step back into their roles and assume the mantle that is Team EyeRSeeRs.

Spaces are still available for people of all skinning skill levels to join the team. Know this though . . any team prizes awarded will only be provided to those members that contribute skins and recieve medals.

Benefits of being a member of the EyeRSeeRs

  • Team EyeRSeeRs is pants optional!
  • Three of the 2004 team have been on the skincast!  It could happen to you!
  • We've yet to be spoiled by the success of winning too many competitions!
  • Spelling . . who needs spelling?!?!?

 

Today is a great day for Team EyeRSeeR.  Today we rise anew.

Are we doing another blind?
Any member can do as many skins as they want.  There is no collaborative or "relay" event.

I was surprised we even had one entry.

I got some ideas for a blind but I have no idea how to realize them.... I was wondering if we could try something of a collabrative effort

Each entry must create all their own images . . but there is nothing in the rules that says one person can't say "can we put that pixel there?" and the skinner does it.

Well, ok then.

I want to make another blind, but am lacking a plan. TheD2JBug, what do you have in mind? Maybe you can PM or email me some ideas?

Confirmed.  But the skinner must be the submitter.

Update for the team: 1st (and hopefully not the last that I submit to the GUIC's this year) IP is halfway done (and it's only taken me 3 days  )!  If I keep up this kind of effort, I should be done with it by next week (hard drives and system icons, like my computer, take a tad bit longer).
