WindowFX Beta loaded in SD Central

At the bottom of my SD Central Object Desktop application list there is an entry for WIndows FX.
When I load this, I get a warning message that it is not compatible for Vista.
THe behaviour is shaky to say the least, and although I set WinFX to load at startup, it doesn't.
What's the situation with the Beta? Is there a Vista compatible verison of WinFX?
HOw come the version for XP is still in Beta?
If not, is there any other company that makes a similar vista comp. application?

But what is it based on... Have you got "inside information"?
The fact that the XP version is still in Beta makes me suspect that somebody got started, lost interest and left it!
I really want the shadows behind the windows...
that come with Windows FX.

The current XP build should not be marked as beta.
Right now some of the WindowFX features do not work well on Vista machines which have the DWM enabled.
