Activation Count Reset
Friday, March 28, 2008 by Finhbar | Discussion: Stardock Support General
Hi,
I created a ticket at Support a couple of days ago requesting that the activation count for WB be reset for me, if possible. I am a current ODNT/OD Ultimate subscriber and have had trouble installing/using WB with the last couple of builds of WB on Vista x64 (the infamous msconfig.exe issues), and have had to uninstall/reinstall WB numerous times in a short period of time... hence my request for ac reset above.
I understand that there are still issues with eSupport and submit this post as a "Backup" request.
One further request for assistance if I may. On launching Impulse I have active registrations for ODP and OD Ultimate and my ODNT subscription is now showing as invalid, is it "safe" to delete the ODNT registration at this time, or do I need to leave it as is until I renew in June ?
Regards,
Peter

Peter: I have reset your activation count so you should be all set there.
Regarding the ODNT subscription. I would not be concerned about this. I am experiencing the same problem in my own account and have reported this with the developers. It's my assumption that since you were a pre-existing Object Desktop subscriber, you will be automatically upgraded to Object Desktop Ultimate and therefore are not a standard Object Desktop subscriber anymore (you would prefer Ultimate anyway, it's better
).
