Alienguise question
Sunday, February 24, 2008 by bobraymund | Discussion: Stardock Support General
Well, I recently heard about AlienGUIse, so decided to download it, but before using it I looked around the internet and heard quite a few people have had major problems with it.
So, my first question is: How risky is it to use it and can it cause some major problems? How can I avoid these?
Second question: Do I need anything else downloaded and installed on my computer before I install a theme from AlienGUIse?
Thanks in advance,
Bob

Gotta say, on my system, it all looks great. AlienGUIse's WB and IP themes, the "Invader" media player skin, the mini-Object Dock, plus various OD+ and DesktopX objects combine to look incredible on here, and they all play nicely with each other.

DonDodds seems to be lucky and shouldn't breathe on his desktop just in case. I am really glad it is working for him though. In most cases we instruct people to remove current Stardock skinning software so they don't conflict. With really strange video cards we often tell them to roll back drivers.
