WC Community Skinning Contest : III

On August 10, 2005, the first ever WC Community Skinning Contest started and was sponsored by Ama02, Fairyy~, BX (me), Bichur, Jafo and Apocalypse_67. It was such a marvelous experience which could never be forgotten.
After a while we had the second WC Community Skinning Contest named as WC Community Skinning Contest: The Holiday Edition. The contest started on September 3, 2005 and hit new heights of success. Last time, the sponsors were Bones2112, Brewman, Bichur, Me, Hus and Apocalypse_67.
We have found some very nice skinners from these community sponsored skinning contests.
And now .. we are back
. The 3rd WC Community Skinning Contest is officially on air!

The Time Line:
The contest will begin on February 15, 2008 (ET) through March 20, 2008 (ET). Results will be announced on March 23, 2008 (ET)
Categories:
There will be four categories to compete for:
1 – WindowBlinds
2 – Icon Packager
3 – CursorXP
4 – Object Dock
The Prize List:
There will be 3 winners from each category. The Prize list is:
1 – WindowBlinds
First Place Winner: ODNT Sub + WC Sub + US$ 100
Second Placer Winner: WB Sub + 2 Master Skins/Suites
Third Place Winner: WC Sub
2 – Icon Packager
First Place Winner: ODNT Sub + WC Sub + A Copy of TweakVista
Second Placer Winner: ODNT Sub + A Master Skin/Suite
Third Place Winner: A WC Sub + Master Skin
3 – CursorXP
First Place Winner: ODNT Sub + WC Sub+US$ 50
Second Placer Winner: A Copy of CursorFX Pro + Master Skin
Third Place Winner: WC Sub
4 – Object Dock
First Place Winner: ODNT Sub +WC Sub
Second Placer Winner: A copy of Object Dock+ & WC Sub
Third Place Winner: WC Sub
The Rules:
Rules and regulations of the contest are as follow:
Eligibility:
- Every WC Community member is eligible to enter the contest except the Sponsors and Judges
-Every participant can submit as many skins/themes as he wants
-Submit your work to WC Gallery
-You must write "3rd WC Community Skinning Contest" in the description of your submission.
-Every Submission MUST be your own work and MUST be a fresh Piece of work. No Ports, No borrowed Images, No Re-coloring of Old work
-ALL parts of the theme/skin must be skinned. Incomplete skins will not be accepted.
Special note for WindowBlinds submissions: Tool bars, Animations, Transparencies, and Vista Support is “Optional” but will give extra marks if done. Rest of GUI Parts MUST be skinned
-Icon Package MUST Contain 70 Icons At least and must have WindowsXP support. Windows Vista support is optional but will give some extra points if done.
-Themes submitted for Object Dock must at least support the free version (OD). OD+ Support is optional.
-Submissions will be judged by a pre-selected panel of Judges and their decision(s) will be considered as final
-A participant can win only in ONE Category
-DO NOT submit, upload or distribute the participating themes/skins on any other website until the contest is over
-Violation of the rules will result in disqualification for the contest

How often can they pull it to modify and resubmit? Is there a dead line on that?

I think it would be better if you submit the new WB as too much time has passed since it was submitted.
The skin should only be pulled off for bug fixing. Normally bugs come under light within few hours of submission.

Oh, and if I remember to double-check the .dockzip this time. Nothing quite like having your very first attempt bounce...

Also the startmenu more programs popup looks better without a background does it have to be skinned?

Thats the sizes for the background pics... 150x150 large pic for music/film/pics folder.
300x300 background pic for controlpanel... you sure those are the icon sizes i would want?
