Can't access personal site

"Sorry, but you must change your nickname in order to create a personal site. Your nickname contains characters which are no longer valid!" This message keeps popping up when I go to my personal site. I have changed my nickname multiple times.

Johnniefive: I am unable to reproduce the problem you're describing. I've logged in under your account and am not denied access when trying to set up a personal site for you (granted I have not gone completely through the process).
Which browser/version are you running and does closing out of all internet browsers, clearing your cookies and then logging in again have any effect?
