Widget request

I have noticed that we have battery meters in both widgets and OD Docklets, what i haven't seen, unless i am mistaken, mattery meter for cordless mice. I have a G7 logitech mouse and the logitech program allows the information to be sent to the system tray icon. Is it possible to make it so that information can be gathered by a widget or OD docklet??? Please if anyone can do something that would br cool and could be popular due to the fact that cordless mice are widely used now

Is there an api for the mouse?  Widgets need somethign to read from.  Unless the vendor is somewhat open . .it ain't gonna happen.  Do some googling and see what you can dig up.  Bring it back here and someone is more likely to help out.
