It's been awhile since someone has had a tantrum about this in the forums. A little dissapointing. The other tantrums were more entertaining. Can we pick it up a bit?

However, the 'powers that be' decided to allow some, that would have normally been rejected completely, to show on our 'PERSONAL PAGES'. I myself had my first one sent to my personal pages a while back..it got 19 comments and currently has 200 downloads. It's not the oblivion you think it is.
There is a thread..(Please, check that link) for the few, the proud, the rejected called The Personal Page Elite, where you can post links to your work, bitch about it, or just get tips and advice, whatever. You're welcome to put your two cents in there anytime.

Just a little constructive criticism on your walls DC.. they're a little "busy" tone them down a bit, choose your colors wisely, and test run your creations for a few days to see if they work, don't let the "rejections" get you down. I've made over 250 walls and some have been good and others have been... shit.

posting rejected walls in forums is very bad form.

...look, take everyones advice, brush up on your skills.. don't upload until someone.. anyone you know says..at least.. "hmmm.. its not ... bad." I'll be honest with you and not trying to bring you down but.. you say you've seen worse in the gallery..I'm not so sure..honestly these were pretty bad. A dose of reality is sometimes better than any amount of backpatting. It was for me at least. In a couple of years you'll look back and probably agree. Getting all pissy with the very people your looking for approval from is also a bit redundant.

nobody's thrilled at having their creations rejected.....but that's how you improve and can look back and understand why........
I frankly think having the moderation policy helps you strive to be better....and gives a greater sense of achievement/satisfaction/recognition when accepted.....if a site accepts a blanket everything.....not much challenge there...merely hosting......but if that's what you're looking for...go for it.....
