Dreamscene/dreamscape screensaver?

Sunday, August 12, 2007 by Xepherys | Discussion: DeskScapes

Is there any way to use Dreamscenes as your Vista screensaver? I mean this in the true sense of a locked PC with a full screen dreamscene or dreamscape running which will go to a log in screen when interrupted?

There are already screen savers out there that play videos. However, they will not play .dream files.

Yes there is a Dreamscene screensaver. I used it for six months or so, but lost it after a drive reformat (yes, in a moment of idiocy I accidentally deleted my backup). I'm searching for it now. If I'm successful, I'll post the link.

I'd like to see a future of DeskScapres support this.

Found it. Go to http://dreammanager.wikidot.com/

The Dreamscapes screensaver link is at the bottom of the page. It's free.

The Dream Manager app looks interesting too.

I know this may sound stoopid, but what would be the point of a screensaver, when you have dreams?

Am I overlooking something?

Dreams curretnly run under everything, screensavers run on top of everything (and can be locked).

I knew the difference, just not why a saver , rather than a dream.  The locking thing works.

What if you want teh same dream as a screensaver?  You have to have two instances.  And for dynamic dreams . . . ?

A video is a looping animation.  A dynamic dream is a program that runs and different things happen.

Let's pick a dynamic dream at random . . . the ZubaZ one that _dreamer_ did.

You can change the properties of it.  the color, the speed, the size.  And every time you run it it will have a different pattern (after the first few seconds).

That's dynamic-tastic!

The Dream Manager is by The Master Baron which made the first reply. It is a very good program and worth the price.

Strange that he was unaware of the dreamsaver link, since it's on the same page that his Dream Manager is sold on.
