I have "Check for any beta release updates" in SDC. I'm running Vista Ultimate.

In SDC: try a straight download and archive, then use the restore archive to install

And the answer is....

A new release of IP 3.19q[rc].021 does indeed install. However SDC is still screwed up in that even though you have checked "...check for beta/releases..." it doesn't do it. Un-installing SDC and re-installing for some reason does work and does check for a more current version of SDC, which allows the installation of IP.
