Unsolicited Email Notifications?
Tuesday, February 20, 2007 by drexolympus | Discussion: WinCustomize Site Issues
I just received 16 emails, all identical (or at least, very similar) telling 'me' that treetog had recently updated a skin. When last I checked, I had never used the name "Draginol," nor had I subscribed to treetog's skins. After the first 8 I checked my settings and verified that I was not on the list to be notified of changes, when I received the second batch of emails.
Please let me know if this is an error that I should clear up on my end, or if it's a glitch in the system. As great as treetog's skins are (and they are great), I don't need to be notified of them 16 times.
Thanks!

I got another report of this earlier in the evening and have already emailed off a bug report. I'm not at all sure why this just suddenly happened with this update on Treetog's part.
Sorry about that.

Just so you're aware, I received another 21 emails between the times of 6:38 and 6:42AM MST (8:38-8:42AM EST) this morning (26 February 2007) all notifying me of JJ Ying's AeroS skin. I believe I was notified about that skin twice on Saturday, as well, though I still haven't subscribed to receive any such emails.Again, it's not a big deal for me, but it means something's up, so I just wanted to make sure it's made known. Thanks!
