Um, er, had to slightly delay me conflict critter hunt cos I suddenly remembered this little gem and had to return with a comment....
PC, back in the JoeUser/Joke User thread I offered/suggested this very thing, that we let bygones be bygones and share a bit of fun together as friends, to look forwards rather than back. Okay, so the thread didn't get off to the most auspicious of starts, and yeah, you regret how you went about things, but that's no reason to carbosh the whole thing when all was soon forgotten and the thread became a social oulet for wannabe pirates. What you said originally became irrelevant, and to reflect that, I asked you to join us...if not as a pirate wannabe, as a contibutor of news and other items of interest.
The offer was genuine, and nobody would have minded if you had chimed in with a news item, joke or an AAArrrggghhh! However, you declined and came back with yet another gripe that won you no friends and certainly no favours....in other words, your destiny was in your hands and you blew it by being unsociable rather than sociable.....
Don't you think that was rather counterproductive (hypocritcal even)....saying on one hand: "How about we all just start "getting along?...having already rejected the offer of friendship with the other??

You be sinking our ship matey - I be bringing out me cat o nine tails and be whippin' ye fer sure! After that I be settin' Pecky the parrot on ye ta peck at ye jelly beans an' all! Pecky tears a strip off them beans fer sure!
Now fer ta turd time ye be shanghied and made ta serve on that thar bucket capt'd by Capt' Starkers. Ye be comin on board an joinin' ta fun fer sure or Pecky be eatin' ye jelly beans fer sure! aaaargghh

Not a good idea, Skinhit, NOT a good idea....the blue one makes him invisible and the red one makes him naked. Trouble is, the blue one only lasts 5 minutes.
You shouldn't be....turned up at my place and wiped dog crap all over my doormat.
Anyhow, I'll see ya'll later....gonna go hunt fer this potential conflict critter, seein' as how the missus bought me a new bow n' arrow set and a slightly used Rambo outfit in combat green.
