help !!

i want to have my desktop custom from all my freinds. but creating a theme is far to difficult for me lol so therefore i downloaded a .dxtheme from here and various other files but when i download the files an go to look at them my computer does not recognize the file type and asks what program to use to open them. i have done everything i can too sort it out but i am stuck. i am now wondering if there is any software i need to get to open them. please someone tell what i need !! im have no idea what to do !! lol HELP !!

go back to each gallery where you downloaded from.
read the description box at the top of each gallery.
notice the links to get the software?
no? try clicking the 'software' tab. the one between 'forums' and 'sites'
now go catch some fish
