WB Skin Issue!!
Wb does not skin the task bar or start menu only.
Monday, July 17, 2006 by Modern FX | Discussion: Stardock Support General
I am having an issue with Windowblinds. For some strange reason WB is not skining the Task Bar ro Start menu but everything else works just fine. I have tried restarting serveral times and uninstall and reinstall but still nothing. I am using WB 4.2 Enhanced. Below is my system configuration:
ASUS A8N32-SLI - Motherboard
AMD64 X2 4400+ - Processor
2GB Cosair Memory
nVidia Geforce 7900GT
Dual Dell 2005FPW - Monitors
I beleive that is all that is relevant. I think.
I appreciate anyone's help.
Thank you

I really do not want to upgrade right now. There should be no reason as to why it is not working now because it was working before. I will continue to look around the settings as suggested.
Thanks again.

This usually means you've got a conflict with some new program or hardware that you installed after Windowblinds.
You didn't mention if it was all wba's or just a particular one but I assume it's all. If not it's also possible your trying to use a blind that's not compatible with your version of Windowblinds.

It sounds like XP SP2 has been installed. The DEP feature (when used with a supporting processor) can cause problems like this.
Please install WB 4.6 (which is free to all registered WB4 customers)
The other possibility is you have told WB to use a different (and missing) skin for the taskbar. This is set on the User Overrides page.

I may be overlooking it but I have looked all over this site and stardock and cannot find WB 4.6 download anywhere. I did a search and nothing came up. Does anyone have a link to it? or can someone from Stardock contact me? I am a paid user and would like to receive this update to see if this resolves my issue. Thank You.
