Everyone at Joe User is just so happy and fun! You have to have a sense of humor with a name like Joe User!
I was considering starting a blogsite dedicated to the discussion of marriage. I was going to call it Harry Crabs. My wife balked, so I digress.
There is really no virtual community to compare to the honest, open perspective that Joe User has. There should be more like it. This world would be a much richer, more diverse place.
I, as soooooooo many others are just grateful to be blessed by the absolute intelligence that this community offers.

News Flash
I be movin' to me new land lubbers residence on Jan 24, a month earlier than 'spected, so I'll be 'avin' ter take a bit o' time orf as cap'n cos I only got a week ta git ev'ryfing packed n' sorted out.....
Not ta wurry, tho....when Us git ta tha new place, I'll plug in me puter afore tha fridge n' freezer, so's I can back to 'e all real quick like. In tha meantime I'll leave tha twisted Sister in yer very capable 'ands....orright.
It'll only be a week.....but

Too late, I knows already....like I needed any more 'WIND', but Gorg come n' told I that ye wos all thar gittin' stuck inta tha rum. So much so, 'e says, ye juss wasn't sailin' round in circles, but much, much worse....'e said ye be goin' 'round n' round in figger o' eights cos ye be so drunk.
I bin packin' fer near 24 hours straight....oh me poor achin' back! I needed a break so I thort I'd come check up on 'ow ye all be doin'. Don't seem like much 'ave changed ....n' that thar be a good fing cos I were wurried that thar you know who might've 'ad ye scuttled in me absence.
Not ta wurry, Fuzzy! Ye've 'eard o' bottled water, 'aven't ye? Well thar be a few bottles o' me own 'brew' layin' 'bout decks so's nobody gits ta missin' I too much.
Oh, and thanks to all fer their best wishes regarding our move. All is going ahead according to plan, 'cept it's costing us around AU$2500 more than expected....
The movers charged $900 for a very similar move a couple of years ago....this time it's gonna cost $2500. And thanks to the Oz gov't adding new taxes/increasing old ones on airfares - a departure tax, fuel surcharges, credit card surcharges and GST - travel costs have more than doubled since I last flew between Tasmania & Queensland 18 months ago.
Put bluntly, not only is the gov't ripping us off with new and increased taxes, the movers are and using higher fuel prices (when they've actually come down) as an excuse to rip us off as well....wages, costs and fuel prices just haven't increased by 160% since our last move with them, so they're just profiteering. Trouble is, that was the cheapest quote and we can't escape it cos all the movers are doing it....most to an even greater extent.
Oh well, it's a done deal and we're on our way in six days now, so I had best get some rest before getting my nose back to the grindstone....be seein' ya'll shortly.
