Taskbar Font Position Alignment

I have the "Desktop" and "My Computer" Toolbars on the Task Bar. The text for each of those, is centered vertically - BUT is being "cutoff". In other words, the lower half of the text is not visible. I have made numerous attempts of playing with the text alignment for various task bar properties, but I am not able to solve the problem. I was hoping to just override the "OS Default" and use the "Top Vertical" alignment. Any tips you can pass along?

I resolved the issue. I removed the "Desktop" and "My Computer" toolbars from the task bar. THEN I re-enabled them AFTER the new skin was loaded. It works. Apparently this is one of those situations where the skinning process gets confused over pre-existing objects.
