Version 2.30.382 vs 2.30.384

Startdock won't seem to autoupdate.

Thursday, March 30, 2006 by Godeke | Discussion: Bug Reports

When I boot my machine the Stardock Icon flashes at me. When I choose "Check for Updates", I get a screen that shows "Stardock Central 2.30.384" and a question "would you like to open Startdock Central now". I do so, and nothing interesting happens. If I select "check for application updates", nothing appears. Curious what version I was actually using, it turns out to be 2.30.382.

Meanwhile, if I double click or chose Details in the dialog that shows 2.30.384 I get a history that goes through 2.29a.374 and no farther.

I seem to remember in other cases seeing a prompt "Stardock Central has been updated". Does this mean that it used to auto update (or even that it might in the future?)

Reinstall SDC from here and let it auto-update.

Reinstalled and it seems to be working like a charm. I was happy to see the downloaded software seems to be intact and a few updates were suddently available.
