Hopefully you guys can appreciate that if someone doesnt HAVE vista, its rather hard to skin for it., Its already hard if you DO.

I posted feedback a few hours ago but it's not showing up for some reason, I've been watching this skin shoot up the charts today.
kitty, let me start off by saying that you did a great job on this skin, love the colors and the overall theme, the grey metal & "blood red" hilights work great together. What was your inspiration for this metal/tech theme? I could never be this original. Love the all programs menu button, it does make a big difference to skin that button rather than using the standard system hilighting, I'm interested in applying that quick tutorial you provided to me the other day.
The windowframe & min/max/close window buttons rock, love the menu item sphere image - it's a very original idea compared to the standard rectangle shape that most of use. The start button on the taskbar is very good and it isn't affected by resizing the taskbar (which I normally do) - something I always watch out for. Your toolbar icons & animations rock, overall a great looking & complete skin - thanks for sharing your "rising" star (literally!) with us! ��

And again I remind people...if no magic pink shows up in XP...it AINT the skins fault that it shows in Vista.This is apparently a Vista/WB/SKS issue.Magic pink either works or it dont.

You can send the skins to me and I will repackage them with my SKS and I think that will fix the issue til you can upgrade.

I believe a recent article addressed the new SkinStudio that will be part of OD 2008, and in that article it was stated that XP-only and Vista-only parts of WindowBlinds will be clearly delineated and categorized so that it will be obvious what is what. If I'm not mistaken, this will make it much easier for content authors to create skins that at least work in both, even if they don't take advantage of Vista-specific features. So those of us who are ahead of the curve and running Vista can look forward to that; at this juncture, I expect it's nigh-impossible to "dual-design" unless you already have Vista. [/retracting nose]

Hey kitty...found a minor glitch. One app, Gimp, not skinned correctly. The bar where you find file, xtn, edit and such. The drop down menu is upside down and the fonts aren't there. Other than that this skin is cool. BTW...it's the only app this happens to.

Gimp is a graphics program similar to Photoshop but not nearly as expensive...it's a freebie. It supports PSP brushes, handles layers, has many filters for different effects such as artistic blurs, gaussian blur, motion blur, radial blur and the like. There is also a deform tool that can add ripples, lake effect, old photography, grayscale, zebra skin (these I used on my windowblinds rl collection)...uh let's see...what else...handles transparencies...simple frames,3D button frames...too many to mention. It can be found at...WWW Link or WWW Link. Just go there, enter gimp in the search bar and hit go. You won't be sorry. While you're there check out photofiltre...it's another good one. as far as a fix is concerned...I have no idea...sorry.
