hi super matter, nice looking calander 
I'm trying my hand at some desktopX object that I would like to use some 'ripped' paper like you have used in your calander here. Did you make the graphic yourself? I have searched about the net looking for free 'parchment' pages that actually look good but have found very little that is actually free. Did you get yours from a website and could you maybe pass on a link? Or even, if I get desperate and the image is your, can I use it in my own projects with a bit of colour editing?

S'up Skarnivorous? I have several different old paper backgrounds, 8 or 9 i think. I took a couple from the pay sights by just saving the large preview image. The quality of the image isn't good that way but the calendars aren't big so i didn't think it would matter much. The rest, including the one i used in this calendar are excellent quality jpeg images of old paper and old open books which i got from the stock photo->objects section of the deviantArt website. Browse it by searching for the most downloaded images, you might have to looks through a few dozen pages before you find them all but the quality is good and you might find other useful images. Of course you'll have to use Photoshop or some similar program to remove the background and save them as png's or whatever. If you can wait a day or two I'll upload the ones i have as png's to the object dock section on this site, skinbase and customize.org. Hope that'll help, happing skinning!
