Cool idea, maybe some color variation and a Month day year on mouse over. Pretty cool thanks for sharing it

I think a good idea would be to make a 'shadow' cast on the sundial , for the correct time, like a REAL sundial would.

Beautiful work! Is there any way of having it start at a specific position on desktop?

I turned on desktopX and imported the widget as an object and then put it where I wanted it to be. I then exported it again as a widget and the new save was at the place i desired. Of course if I change my desktop again I have to go thru this all over again. Hope this helps.
