Most cursorXP themes come with the file extension cursorXPtheme. They work automatically when added to the CursorXP/Themes folder, or when double-clicked.
Zip files are a little trickier. There are 2 kinds of CursorXP zip files
1) Zip contains more than one CursorXPtheme file. In this case, unzip & add all CursorXPtheme files to the CursorXP/Theme folder
2) Some zip files actually have the wrong file extension & the user has to change the extension from .zip to .CursorXPtheme manually. When making this change, a warning dialog box pops up saying the file may not work if the extension is changed-- change it anyway. Then add the file to the CursorXP/Theme folder.
The only way to find out whether a zip is type 1 or 2 is to unzip it. You already found out you have type 2, so just change the filename as described.
