"Yarn Weaver" - that was my grandmother, I use to sit and watch her knit the most incredible things......aaah those were the days !

cool, I loved to watch my mum knit all the time she was so fast at it too , she use to knit my school jumpers, and make my school uniforms as well

Reply #232 makes me think of a Fun House. I see lights leading up a path to lit up entrance, and the surrounding darkness adds just enough of a sense of foreboding. Mwuahahahahahahahaha
On the subject of crochet. I used to crochet when I was a little kid. Not proper crocheting. My mum showed me and my siblings how to do it, but we'd make just one continuous line. I think I had the longest one; it was about 20 feet long, lol. Must have cost my mum quite a bit in yarn, but it kept us quiet for hours on end, so it was probably a small price to pay. Happy days
Edit: Just looked at the other one and I'm going to suggest Aries as a name 'cause it looks like Ram horns.

My mom did crochet. Her thing was very big very long blankets. Warm and toasty on cold winter nights.

wow heaps to choose from me thinks i will have to have a good think on all the suggestions. altho for the one that looks like crochet i did call that one yarn weaver by taken the two words from both Uvah and AceMatrix, but thank you to everyone for their suggestions on the other one I think alien concert will be the winner on that one but at least now I have the names for my next project

Just a friendly update on what i have done, well firstly I have uploaded yarn weaver, and alien concert, both are now in moderation so fingers crossed I can't thank you all enough for the help in naming them they are all great names and the ones that didn't get used I sure will be using in the next wallpapers i make so please don't feel bad if I haven't picked yours, it was a hard decision to make
just know that I love each and everyone of you as my family

im DEFFINITLEY taking up knitting when im 60 (i think) i want to be a lavender grandmother, im literally going to dye my grey hair lavender if it turns grey with one black streak in it (thats andys suggestion which i think is very very cool) like Lillian Munster but the opposite.
and ill bake cakes and still skin if skinning is still around, if not painting, and probably what me and andy decide to take up as a hobby together.
