I actually used SkinStudio & changed the tooltip text from white to black in the Windows 7 substyle after I noticed that.
I miss the old "import" button, as there are still actually some .msstyles I'd like to make into Blinds for 7...

I will correct this in the next skin update, but in the meantime if you want to change it, you can open WB config, go tot eh 'Colours' tab, click on the "Change skin system colours" button, then select which substyle (there are three - you might want to do all), scroll down to "system colour: hilight text" which will be white - change it to black and the tooltip will be corrected. Thanks for pointing that out.

I had the same issue as dilmonen, so thanks for the advice essorant and of course thanks for the great skin. Actually changing "system colour: info text" to black did it for me, as "system colour: hightlight text" already was set to black.

Love the skin, however, I am getting a couple of errors on Windows 7. The small arrow in the notifications area is having a bad day! The arrow graphic is shifting up and I am getting a strange block of colour covering half the button. It goes away when I roll the mouse over tho'. Also I run Corel Paint Shop pro, and when I launch it I get a warning that says "The color scheme has been changed to Windows 7 Basic...A running program isn't compatible with certain visual elements of Windows. Click here for more information." Obviously that is a problem with Paint Shop Pro - but it didn't happen before I applied the skin - just thought you should be aware of it. As for the strange goings on with the notifications area icon I can post up a picture somewhere if you want to see.

The change of colour scheme sounds like the DWM turning off because the application you are running doesnt support it. It should restart when the app has closed. That shouldn't be a problem related to a specific skin as there's nothing in them to affect it.
The systray arrow - not sure why it should be a problem (it seems ok here in all three sub-styles), although I have occasionally seen that the Win7 systray arrow 'disappears' then 'reappears' when I hover over it - but that's not just using my skin, and only once in a while.
One thing might be worth trying: go to the 'Jakuta' folder (public documents, stardock, windowblinds, jakuta), sort the files by 'type', find and delete any file with the extension '.WB4' (NO OTHERS!), then open WB config and re-apply Jakuta. (Those files will be recreated by WindowBlinds.)

I did purchased this skin and I've been using it right now when writing this. Although this is a really nice skin and light in memory it seems because I find it to 'run' faster than others, I found at least 2 unwanted features : - first, it doesn't add any shadow under the windows and I think, in an OS providing such possibility and way of distinguishing between what's layering on the desktop, it's a deficiency. Edit: in fact, there's a shadow but so tiny and only on the right and foot side of the window that it is merely visible. I think a stronger one should make a real enhancement. - Second, when you roll the window there is a bug in both left and right down corners, the left one being the most buggy as it displays some vertical side of the window above the skin. The right side displays half of this, due to the systems buttons I think. Strangely, this behavior depends on the type of the window : as in the explorer windows, whatever their sizes, this won't happen (only the left side shows this bug), it happens in firefox or the explorer replacement I use (xplorer2), windows media player, notepad, calculator, any system dialogs or any application I've been using since.

Tim is one of the most respectable skinner ever, been skinning for ages, still his work is remarkable, neat, simple, and innovative . The choice of color is amazing. Essorant is my favorite skinner of all time. BTW do not forget menu bar button, .. Cheers, ,
