I love that it has just the tiniest hint of color in it, barely there, but visible....and the control panel branding made me smile and remember a certain game I was totally addicted to.

This may be just a personal preference but I think it's important: On a vista skin, it's a good idea to set the bottom text margin on the right side of the startpanel to a negative value (somewhere between -30 and -40 seems to be the norm). The reason for doing this is that as more content is added to the right side, it pushes the list down. If you don't have a negative value, the bottom items will get chopped off. Doing this will also reduce the "dead space" on the bottom of the Places list, making the startpanel take up less height.

I agree!

I think this skin looks very well polished. Based on skyzyk's report and screenshot I downloaded it for Win7. However I have my taskbar up top and in that regard it works horribly in Win7. I'm not blaming the skinner since it doesn't mention support for Win7. I just thought I should add that if you have your taskbar up top it isn't work properly. Hopefully a Win7 compatible version will be made of this terrific skin
