Sharp blind,, worth buying, any ideal on how to change the black back ground when I'm browsing my folder,, I wanted to try some other colors just not sure how

It's not a perfect solution, but you can import an Explorer Backround for the color you want. You will need a jpeg or other image file with the color you want. (The file does not need to be a single solid color). Just goto the last tab, "Explorer Backrounds" in Windowblinds. Click "Create Texture", browse to and selct your file, click "Open". WB will then open a window displaying the file you selected. You can use the entire image or use the selection tool to sample a portion of the image. The sample or image will then be tiled to cover the Explorer Backround.

I know you've had this problem in the past so I hesitate to bring it up now however when I try to download this updated version (having purchased the original last year) the link I am sent to at store.Stardock.com only downloads the "Latest" version that in fact says "last modified 9/11/2011". Is that download this updated version or has Stardock not updated that link yet?

If it has Win 7 Substyles, it is the latest version.
I updated it last at the end of last year, so that date is probably correct.

OK. However this page now states that the Skin has been updated on 3/12/12. You might ask for a correction in that case.

I have RE-uploaded the skin because when I initially updated it to 7, it did not update correctly.. all those who purchased the updated 7 version please re-download.

I checked the screen shots very carefully and I'm not getting the whole theme! I have the main part, but the files in explorer are all still using white bg! I need the whole thing to work if I am going to feel that I got my money's worth. Tips? Thanks.

I'm using Win 7 x64, and WB7, and other weird crap is going on with this blind. I get faulty window aero peek. It blinks super fast so I know it was trying, and snaps off immediately.. there's no way I can get that to stay on. What the heck?? Every other theme's aero peek works. Come on - help somebody please.

Sounds to me like u got a bad download, or you have the vista version loaded, not the 7 one, or something local is affecting the theme.
Both issues you have mentioned are fine on my PC and all my testers, I have double checked. Also, zero other folks mentioned it.
Try re-downloading, making sure you have the right substyle loaded.
Unfortunately not every WB will work perfectly on every PC due to different local conditions.
