Dunno, man. For a "Starfleet" theme, it's very blah and generic. Swap out the wallpaper and the Starfleet crest for nearly anything else and it would work as well. Given the olive drab color, it'd look great if you gave it U.S. Army logos, or used images/icons from the "America's Army" FPS. Shouldn't a Trek theme be brighter and more razzle-dazzle?

At the same time I wanted to do something that wouldn't scream Star Trek (for non Trek fans)

if anyone is interested in a decent LCARS desktop, I found one many years ago ... edited it and adjusted it to suit my needs.

what's with the 2 1/2 stars, this clean, very usable, love the start panel, windowframes, the color is great, the titlebar buttons are also nice (min/max/close), decent scrollbar thumb & arrow buttons, taskbar & toolbar buttons are pretty nice too, plus shell animations and per pixel windowframes. I don't think I'll ever figure out the rating system.
