Trek is good 
Not bad for a second skin, though you need to develop a little more consistency in the theme.
An example of this is the lighting: The window frame, tool frame and task panel are lit from beneath. The buttons are lit from top left. Scroll bars have lighting from the front on the thumbs, and top/bottom/left/right for the scrollbar buttons.
Just curious to know why all the scrollbar images are based on 50 pixels when the scrollbars themselves are only 17 pixels...
Still, there isn't much Trek stuff here (strangely) and this is a welcome addition - hope to see more

A lot of these things can be chalked up to inexperience with photoshop. Most of the effects here have happened by accident (sadly). I think it's time to break down and actually read the help section!
I'm glad you notice details like lighting, because it hadn't occurred to me.
I've never been quite pleased with the scrollbar/buttons (they are basically a cutout of the taskbar)

Nice work,please keep tweaking and polishing this one,we do need more quality sci-fi themes. One thing I dont like is the start panel, the lighter parts look like stone/marble. Maybe darker more metallic or transparet might work a little nicer. Thanks for sharing your work,I'll be watching this one for sure. .

Start panel = cold borg skin with visible blood veins.... NOT changing that I will keep working on this one though

Its broken, explorer window is white and not black. As shown in picture, but can be changed manually.

Martin has nothing of importance to say ..he lacks the skill required to make any comment worth bothering with.
I like the start panel ...thats one thing you shouldnt change ..maybe a bit more work on buttons etc.

Yep, wot everyone else said, 2of, this 'ere be a beaut skin and a fine addition to the WC library....love the sci.fi feel; oh, and keep the start panel as is, it's tops.

Not broken
The window in the preview is the control panel that's black! If I made the explorer windows black, I would run into severe problems with text color (changing text color there also effects the text other places)

Oh, you want a comment?! I thought my smiley face explained it all. Well I guess that I have to do it the hard way - you see, dear users - my smiley means disappointment. First of all the colors... it all looks old style grayish greenish and just makes me feel like I'm in an old low budget horror movie. I don't know what do you see in this blind. Buttons look very very very very unpleasant, just like the start menu. Come on man, it's the 21st century, if I want to feel like I'm using DOS or windows 95 I'll gladly use this blind.

Showing progress, as far as PS is concerned you wont find much help in help.. I suggest good-tutorials.com as a good place to start though.
