Really nice Snowman. I like the unusual start menu.

Yes nice start menu and good color...

Psynex, nit-pick all you want

The jaggies on the start menu curves... I thought WB was capable of alpha-trans now? Why not soften them up?

I'll have a look at it when I get the time - I havent had any time to 'play' with the new alpha-blending yet.

The rest I wont be touching. I don't want the port to differ too much from the original.

starone/shelby - thanks

It is nice (already noticed it when it was msstyle only). Reminds me of Pixoffice in some way.

Great skin, but the highlight color behind selected text doesn't stand out enough in the browser (when it's the current window -- background windows seem fine). Is anyone else seeing this (or not ?)

Superb. The style seems to bring together some excellent styles from the "past" (Internet time) and make a unique new visual style.

Like Mr. Lankford, however, I don't see any selection background color around selected text. I tried changing the color for "Selected Items" in Desktop Properties -> Appearance -> Advanced -> Other Advanced Controls, but to no avail. Any ideas how to fix? I can't see my selections. Apparently the text selection background color is white and window backgrounds are also white?

Keep 'em comin'. Thanks.

I also have the problem with the selected items/text highlight thing. Anyone know how to fix this? I love this theme but no highlighting on selected text is driving me nuts

i am new at this so can someone tell me how to install the Pimp works Icons after i download them.(Thanks)
Comment #15 Tuesday, May 17, 2005 5:09 PM

Joan: After you have downloaded the toolbar icons, simply doubleclick the file - that will install the toolbars in the Windowblinds skins folder.
Then load up the Windowblinds configuration (doubleclick the systemtray icon)
Click on 'My Toolbars' on the left.
Select the option that fits your needs (I use the "if the skin has a toolbar icon set defined...." etc etc)
The pick the toolbar set you want to use from the list below and click 'Apply changes' on the left and close the window.

Now.... if you open "My computer" or any other Explorer window you may see that nothing has changed.
If so, rightclick the toolbar, select 'Custumize...'
At the bottom of the window you will see the "Icon options:" - select either large or small icons depending on what it was already set to.
Click "Close" and the toolbar icons should hopefully change.
Good luck.

Hey, wonderful work. This is a great skin!

The jaggies on the roundovers I can live with, but they do sorta stick out on an otherwise refined skin. I agree that not having highlighting of text would be a bummer, but I don't seem to have that problem. For me, a constant plague in "dark" skins is that I have never figured out how to change the "paper" in Word, for example, to default white... If you added a "light" version, this would be my default skin!

First of all let me start by saying not only to you, but the entire community of fine talented people such as yourself, who takes the time to put these beautiful skins together, EXCELLENT WORK. Thanks to all of you and especially you SNOWMAN. I have but one request if you can find the time, I love to see a transparency button added, I just love that feature, again only if you can find the time, I really love the work you've done, thanks, take care.
