Really like the detail on this - just a couple things I noticed. The wallpaper has 0 bytes [not sure if something happened or its me] and the start panel looks slightly different than the preview - my name is showing up opposite of where yours is in the preview. But I'm still gonna use it - as I think you did a great job

Ya know I think I really like the style...and the way things seem to be inset, it's all smooth and clean I like that a LOT, but I don't care for the color. It's almost white, almost light gray, almost pale green...then with the light tealish/bluish doesn't match at all, in my opinion. It's actually much better using the "Gray Scale", but I'd bet that it would look great in black...And to tell the truth, I'd like to see a colored sub-style...any color that would accept force coloring, but again, that's just my opinion...Hope you consider adding color...Overall this is really very sharp....I'll give it a fair to high rating...of course I could up that rating if you decide to add color...

Wow....great work! You have great style, and you seem to be able to put out great skins rapidly and consistantly.

Very nice and clean skin. How do you get the start menu to look like that?

Fantastic! Got Gorilla icons working.
Reminds me of the Edge theme I made for gnome.

Keep up the great work!

Great looking skin and just the right touch of the blue tint is perfect.
This deserves a Higher rating..

thanks for the feedback everyone!! i reposted the skin so that the wallpaper is actually included as promised (how i overlooked that one is beyond me). As for the higher rating...i could really care less about the rating system. Quite honestly i skin what i like so at least to's a 10 haha. but it's the same for everyone, everyone has their own tastes and interests so what may be a 10 to you may be someone else's 1. either way, it's all about having a little fun right?

Thanks for the feedback's what definatly makes the long nights in front of the monitor worth while. I agree TN Brat, some color is needed, this skin orignially started as yellow and white...but as you work on these things they tend to take on a life of their own and in the end, alot of color just wasn't working for this skin. it looked good with color but useablility was a huge issue. when i create a skin i always skin with useablility in mind, so i tried to make up for the lack of color with the light blue mouse-overs on the buttons and lighter wallpaper to give it a bright illusion.

Mary Marino...please make sure you have the user pic turned off in WB. sounds basic but i'm just making sure i don't have a bug.

I appreciate this skin for "easy on the eyes" coloring. I can see me enjoying this one for a while , alas , your preview shows roll-up but mine doesn't . Of all the options WB has, I find myself using roll-up constantly . as for the ratings I agree with you_ they dont mean too much _.
Comment #15 Thursday, January 06, 2005 9:20 PM
thanks for the comments KT!!! i looked into the roll-up issue you're having. the skin is definately built with roll-up as an option so (caution: obvious suggestion not meant to question your intelligence) make sure that you're using windowblinds 4.0 or higher and also that you're not using the "free" version. although this may be an issue that no one's talking about, so if anyone else is having this problem let me know so i can take steps to fix it. thanks for downloading!!!

Hi , great skin ! good work !

One little question though , when i load the startpaneluser.bmp it shows up in pink how can i change it?

Comment #19 Saturday, January 08, 2005 2:51 PM
Hi...I tried leaving the user pic option turned off, but it still did the same - name was on the opposite side of what's shown and the start menu was not the same, meaning that on the preview it appears to be 'divided' into squares and mine was not. Tried it on my work PC and it was the same. Not sure if it's me or there is a slight 'bug'. But overall it is a great skin!
Comment #20 Saturday, January 08, 2005 2:57 PM
okay i see what you mean now. the preview shows the items divided into boxes when in reality that's simply the rollover image. i was trying to demonstrate the roll-over effect in the screenshot, so it's not a bug, simply a somewhat misleading screenshot which i'll fix thanks for downloading and the feedback!!
