Great skin! You're putting out good, quality work.

Heres a tip for you: You can make the start button less wide by making the overall graphic smaller. The button width = the width of the image / number of states. Hence, if you wanted a start button 20 pixels wide, make a whole image that is 100 pixels wide, and it will divide it by five.

I think this skin would be improved by a smaller start button, if you were interested in using the technique. jdcerebro@gmail.com me if you have more questions.

Nice. Very nice.
But why messing up flat buttons?
PENGUIN of NSK thinks, that if one does border the buttons, he should include a no-border subskin...

Nevertheless, very nice.

Nice minimalism... great overall
I think this skin would be super sweet if you included some different color schemes

Good skin. Titlebar buttons look nice as do the scrollbars.

There are some items that could use work. Toolbars on Internet Explorer have issues with text being cut off (the bottom portion of Address is cut off as well as my Norton AntiVirus text). I also found that the font choice for the menu bar causes some menu items to run into each other. One last item that I ran into is that the scroll up function scrolls the windows up just a bit too far, cutting off the bottom of your titlebar buttons.

Good job!

Absolutely defeated unckel fester at skinning!

Bright colors, too much bevels, but far far better than unckel fester.

Hiya scion overall a pretty nice skin. Good color choice and there is a sense of a single unified style going on here. There are a couple of bugs I saw that should be fixed...

The vertical taskbar is not skinned and if you expanded the horizontal taskbar to double-wide (which some folks use), you lose the whole look of the taskbar...it becomes choppy looking, the margins are set differently between the taskbar itself and the systemtray. Also I'd used magic pink behind the start button.

On the startmenu the background blue is showing white boxes around each of the items. That's because the StartMenuButtonBackground image's default state is a solid white background, instead of magic pink or using a tga file.

There are a few minor bugs as well. I think you need to go thru each section of the skin to make sure that all the parts are skinned and that font styles and colors are set.

this is the only site i've ever posted anything on that the users actually give helpfull feedback. thank you all so much for your support and constructive feedback.

apparently this skin is a little buggier than i expected. since i never use large taskbars etc... i didn't bother to skin for them. quite an oversight on my part. i'll address those issues on my next skin, and, hopefully fix them on this one sometime in the near future.

i've been using MS Paint to generate the graphics but i recently purchased Adobe Photoshop and am using that as of now, so if anyone knows of good sites for tutorials please let me know.

thanks everyone!!
