Ok, well, now that I've tried this I have to make a another comment....

First I agree with Wizop Koasati, WAY to much is lost like that!

Also, I've finally just deleted this one, because both times I've tried it, the changes it made to my font settings were HORRIBLE! I use 1280bx1024 with my dpi at 120, and I have my "User Overides" set at "Make fonts 20% larger"

I won't go into details, unless you're interested, but I wanted to say, that I've had to perfrom a "System Restore" both times I've used this, 'cause even after changing to a different WB, the size of my fonts wouldn't go back....I tried everything I could think of to fix them with no avail...

I LOVE this skin! Beautiful! Wish I could use it!

TN Brat!: ( Sorry to hear that. I'll try to explain to you what exactly is happening when you apply Blue Lagoon and HOW you can STILL use this skin:

Blue Lagoon overrides your system fonts by defining the "Fonts for classic widgets" section of SkinStudio. I guess most skin authors don't make use of it, but I do, and I'm fully aware that it overrides your default/current system font settings. The reason why the fonts DON'T change back when you apply another skin, is because that skin does NOT have "Fonts for classic widgets" defined. In other words, the other skin relies on your current system font settings. Now, for the solution to this "problem":

First of all, there is no need whatsoever to use System Restore to get back your default system font settings. Here are some solutions:

1) Before applying Blue Lagoon, open up the substyle you wish to use, in SkinStudio. Locate Miscellaneous > Fonts for classic widgets and remove/clear that section. Then save the substyle. Then you can safely apply the skin.

2) If the "damage" has already been done, either from applying Blue Lagoon or another skin that overrides the system font settings, simply unload WindowBlinds. Then go into Display Properties and under Themes, choose Windows Classic and apply that theme. Or if you saved your current theme before applying Blue Lagoon, you can apply that instead.

Oh you are a LIFE SAVER!!!
Thanks so much!!
I knew there was a way to fix it wothout doing a restore, but I couldn't find I guess it's like you said, most skinners don't use that setting, so I had NO idea where to look!
I'll be downloading this again! Thanks!!!

I really LOVE this skin BUT every single time I change my Icon fonts to 14 bold it sets but if I try to change any of my other fonts to larger too then the font I had just set in 14 Tahoma bold for my icons goes back to the normal very small size. Why can't I change ALL fonts to the size I want without them going back to the normal small size??? Or if I close out my browser (firefox) then when I reopen it my fonts selection is gone and I have to start all over. This also sometimes happens even if I go from web page to web page. I guess this skin only allows 1 font change?????? Why and how can I fix it? I love the color of this skin though-BIG fan of blue and this shade is PERFECT!! Could I fix this problem with the FREE version of skin studio?? And if so how????

I like the skin a lot, but only 2 recommendations. On the window when a skin change is taking place, there is the ugly pink box and no transparency. The last thing are the window buttons. I don't mind the black, but the purple mouseover really clashes with the theme being blue. Other than those small things, this skin is amazing.

danilloOc: Thank you I appreciate your suggestion, but changing the black buttons would mean I would have to change a lot of things with the skin that has the black color in it. The skin is to be considered blue with some black. I was hoping to avoid creating a totally blue skin...

Awesome skin
the only thing i would like to change is the Black buttons too, maybe to dark blue, it's just my opinion but the skin looks great

(shame about the ladybug... any chance of the option to lose it?)

Yes please do add right-click rollup Nicely put together skin...colours remind me a little too much of MSN. I like the style of the arrows being a little off kiltered makes the controls refreshing. Not so keen on the titlebar buttons black/purple rollover with no glyphs.
