I would probably use the Luna theme once in a while if it came in black or dark blue and the start button wasn't green. I formatted and reinstalled XP the other day and I found Luna so irritating I reinstalled WindowBlinds before I even got the MS updates.

As others have said, we want to use WindowBlinds because of its various features, but we also want to use the original look of Windows XP. As for custom color support, you can enable an option to change the colors of any skins including ones that don't have the support, like this. Hopefully I'll have the Silver and Olive Green ported by Friday.

I liked the skin - XP is a much cleaner interface - its a pity the taskbar icons and start button dont work. I would be fine on WIN98 or W2K

I have tried this several times in ME and it locks up the display properties dialog box.

I'm using MS Windows98, and when I try to change it the Windows XP Style in the Properties, it stuck there.

I can't seem to get this to work. It keeps hanging when I try to change to this skin.

I had an older version that was great. I could not find the other color versions so I tried downloading it again. Now it crashes XP Pro! Please fix this great skin.

hey.. i'm using win 2000 pro SP2 ... and it just freezes when i try to load this skin!?!? has anyone fixed or know what's wrong???

For those of you who have problems loading this skin, here is the fix.

Rename the directory that contains this skin--should be named 'Homestead' located in your Windowblinds directory--and rename the directory to 'LunaXP'.

I had problems with my machine locking up, but re-naming the directory fixed that problem; however, now there's a problem with the way the checkboxes look--they're distorted. Everything else about the skin looks great.

Dingleberry: It also helps those of us who are forced to use Windows 2000 at the office to have an XP look.

Mr. Shannon,

The problem with the distorted checkboxes is a bug I think that exists with any version of WindowBlinds under version 3.41. Version 3.3 had a problem, but version 3.41 didn't...might be due to the graphic type (.tga or .bmp) or some other attributes assigned to the skin/graphics...try the shareware version out to see if that fixes the problem...the other solution to the problem is to download another Luna theme, and copy the same graphics over to the LunaXP folder, and make sure the replacement files has the same name as the original ones. This may not work entirely, but I seem to have fixed the problem this way, as I am running version WindowBlinds 3.3

I fixed the checkboxes and radios for those of you who have a WB version that doesn't support the extra images in checkboxes and radios. As for the problems with it installing in HomeStead instead of LunaXP, I've changed the file into a zip file, so you'll have to install it manually, but it'll work.

i really want to download this skin you made, but my download gets terminated as soon as i try to download, i have registered with this site, but still no luck. maybe you could email me the skin...

I'll like to use this skin to but every time I choose it in the display properties box on WIN 98 it just makes my computer lock up. I have no other problems with any other skin but this one.
