Agreed, this is super slick. You guys both really kicked ass on this one. The design is tight and more features than you can shake a stick at!

Plague I agree about the right click menu, but as you know only in WA3 was possible to skin this.
In WA5 it's not but I insist, so good design should have it's own tooltips IMHO like almost else Modern Skin has

Of course Michael it's up to you if you skin tooltips or not I just put my 2cents to something I believe would better in my eyes while using the skin.

I must say that this is my absolute favourite in this competition so far! Incredibly slick and smooth, nice features (love the eq), awesome color themes and I don't know why but the level bars are mesmerising.

I'm having one teeny problem though. Upon installation a config screen popped up where I could choose antialiasing and type of shadow among other things. I chose my prefs, closed it and now I can't access it. When I click main menu-> options->Resurgence nothing happens. I tried uninstalling/reinstalling the skin but it still won't come up. I'm using Winamp 5.03. Is it a bug or is it a local problem?

Thanks again for this little gem! Good work!

Are you sure the main windows are being shown. If that fails sounds like you need to delete your winamp.ini and studio.xnf files to reset your settings back to default...

I uninstalled Resurgence, deleted winamp.ini and studio.xnf, reinstalled Resurgence and it still doesn't work, nothing happens when I click on Resurgence in the main menu. The main window shows up aswell as the playlist, vis, video, media library and the implemented config screen for color themes, notifier etc. but the config screen for setting shadows that's included with the skin only showed up on the first install which seems to be impossible to revoke since the Resurgence option in the main menu seems to be...defect or corrupted somehow.

883: yea, but on the other hand, it looks sooo damn good with those large numbers, so making them smaller would kinda be a shame too... Hmm, what a dilemma..

I forgot to mention this last time, your PL totally kicks ass! It reminds me of SQ2. Also, are you accepting themes right now?

This is my Fav in the competition Now,

One thing that I recommend fixed before it it judged and i think you can still send in update, the numbers resized smaller for the timer, so they dont screw up while playing longer songs and also
make a container for color themes so they are easily accessed.
Other than that This is #1 now for me.

OK so after using several skins in this competition I must say this one is my overall favorite.

I have been using it now for almost a week and I liking it better every day. One thing I miss though.

The stick mode does not remember its last position. When you go out of stick mode and drag the player across your desktop and want to go back to stickmode you have to put it back in its place every time.

I hope my explanation makes sense Anyway I hope this is changed after the competition. Thanks for making such a fantastic skin. I really like it.

thanx for the note hawk, i'll fix that for the next version.

On another note though, i just released version 1.1, mainly bugfixes and stuff. 1.2 will have a few new features but i just wanted to clear up a few things in the skin first. If you have any colour themes or anything you can always send them to me, if they arnt crap i'll include them anyways here is an update list:

- when dta is on and bars are shown the non-dta bars show instead...> DONE!
- seek to zero bug? >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> DONE!
- "Shuffel" in the playlist should be "Shuffle" >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> DONE!
- Notifier needs to show something on pause and stop. resume? >>>>>>> DONE!
- Vis sometimes off when should be on.... (after pause) >>>>>>>>>>>>> DONE!
- Crash on sys menu >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> DONE!
- Alternative timer font thats smaller >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> DONE!
- Menu text doesnt colour theme >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> DONE!
- config tabs gfx bug >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> DONE!
- weird burn down slider fuckup >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> DONE!
- dockable pl >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> DONE!
- maximize video >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> DONE!

hope this helps some people

ScottyK - i would be more than happy to let someone port it for me, in fact i would help them gfx wise. But as for doing it myself, doubt it...

Not sure about the tooltips, both are good points, i think some things are best left unskinned...

i would just LOVE to see a WMP9 port of this. Any chances of that happening?
