Ohhhh my. This is absolutely haunting, EH!

This is like one of those sunsets that almost take your breath away when you're on the beach walking along...almost feeling as if even if you had a camera you could capture it's raw, unbridled purity and essence...only ART can do it really and you gone and done it!

Thank you all so much for the comments... Yes, it is indeed Terragen. The final render for the 1600x1200 took 16hrs because I set the realism settings as high as the would go. (I guess it paid off) A_67, good idea...I could put this on a bunch of postcards and distribute them...I wonder how long it would take people to catch on. LOL

I love the title, its from a saying, no? About the sunset and sailors?
I do terragens too, and this is just lovely. Well done.

A big thanks to Dark Mist, Giggalot2002 and Xerraire. And yes, the title was taken from the saying,'Red sky at morning, sailors take warning...Red sky at night, sailors delight"

My house is right on the water and my town doesn't have bright streetlights so when sun down comes it's EVEN MORE beautiful than this pic!!!!

Absolutely beautiful. You've captured the lovliness and romanticism of the sunsets. So calming, so before I fall into a peaceful sleep.....congradulations on a wonderful piece.
